The physical models used in Crosslight Software TCAD programs are described in these selected publications. Dr. Z.M. Simon Li is Crosslight's chief simulator designer.

Textbook using Crosslight Software.

Crosslight's simulation software has been used as an educational tool to illustrate device physics in the following book from Academic Press: Semiconductor Optoelectronic Devices - Introduction to Physics and Simulation, by Joachim Piprek. Input files used in this book may be downloaded here. These files are compatible with Crosslight Software Version 2002.8 and may not be 100% compatible with more ecent versions. Please contact Dr. Piprek directly regarding details of the input files.

Crosslight has issued a tutorial / demonstration license (not for commercial design) to Dr. Piprek who may help licensed users at a fee. If you have a demo or regular license of Crosslight's simulators and are in need of tutorial/training/initial-setup, you may consider using Dr. Piprek as well as Crosslight's services. Free seminars are also occasionally organized by the NUSOD institute.
